Lindsey Vonn may not be competing in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, but on Thursday night, the alpine ski racer didn’t slack on her preparation for a turn on the runway. Vonn, who announced last month she wouldn't be going to Sochi due to lingering knee problems, hobbled down the runway of the Red Dress Collection 2014 fashion show at Lincoln Center on crutches. But prior to strutting her stuff, backstage the athlete, dressed in Cynthia Rowley, removed the boot from her right leg to give her injury some fresh air and a massage from a flack. But when the helping hand wasn't rubbing hard enough, Vonn herself took over and started massaging it. If only her boyfriend, golfer Tiger Woods, had been around to offer some assistance. Other celebs who walked in the show, which raises awareness for heart disease with the help of the American Heart Association and the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, included Ireland Baldwin, Jill Martin, Joan Jett, NeNe Leakes and Daphne Oz.

If you didn't recognize the voice on the loudspeaker at the Dannijo New York Fashion Week Presentation at Eyebeam Studio on Thursday, don't be surprised, but there's a good chance you'd recognize his work. The designers behind the cult celebrity jewelry line, sisters Danielle and Jodie Snyder, recruited famed photographer and filmmaker Neil Leifer, renowned for his shots of boxer Muhammad Ali, to do the voice-over work for their multi-layer presentation, Boxerina, which included choreography by the American Ballet Theatre's Nicola Curry. "Danielle and I started boxing like seven months ago and we became obsessed with the sport," explained Jodie. "We started with all these Muhammed Ali photos, and all these old movies. We took it to this whole other level, and then we became obsessed with Neil Leifer, and we actually met him. We're doing a whole other video with him after this." The presentation combined the beauty of ballet with a boxing ring and included guests like Dannijo fans Coco Rocha and style expert Mary Alice Stephenson.
Bloggers and models and musicians, oh my! At the “Girls of One” website launch for modeling agency One Management's blog at Tao New York on Thursday, CEO Scott Lipps shared details about his acquisition of the week: 19-year-old Jake Bugg. "He's got a top single in London, a song called Lightning Bolt," Lipps, who is best known for representing models such as Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen, Karolina Kurkova and Petra Nemcova said. This isn't Lipps' first venture into the music world: His company also handles the endorsement deals for A$AP Rocky, Steve Aoki, Tiesto and Courtney Love, whom Lipps tours with as her drummer. "Anyone who is forward thinking is going to be on our radar for the next few years," he said of the company's increasing expansion.

If Zachary Quinto hosts it, they will come. Or at least, that seemed to be what happened at designer Todd Snyder's Fashion Week after-party on Thursday, held at Bar Nana in the Meatpacking District. The party, hosted by the Star Trek star, was packed to the brim, with hopeful guests lined up down the block to get in. When asked why he thought the party was such a popular ticket, the bashful actor only smiled. "Well, I don't know. As the host, I can only speculate. But I have no idea!" Quinto did seem to have a few thoughts on the pros and cons of fashion week: "Well first of all, I feel like every time you turn around in New York it's Fashion Week again. I think the best thing is the celebration of creativity and people who are trying to express themselves," he said. "And the worst thing is the hassle of the crowds and all this kind of peripheral attention. But that's inevitably a part of everything."
Marc Jacobs has a fervent supporter in Anna Kendrick. At the preview of the first ever Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop pop-up -- where fans and followers of the designer can purchase products and fragrance only by using Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook with the hashtag #MJDaisyChain from Feb. 7-9 -- the actress was all for the concept. "I think it's so genius," she said Thursday in the West Broadway store, located in SoHo, where she was browsing Daisy-themed artwork by Langley Fox Hemingway. "I think social media has really become the ultimate way for girls to share what they are loving in fashion and beauty. It seems to be what girls are most likely to post is about their clothing or their hair or what they've done with their nails, and it feels like a social magazine." The actress, who’s been filming the big screen adaptation of Into The Woods in which she plays Cinderella, was less enthusiastic about New York weather, however. "It is brutal! I don't know why you live here," she laughed. "You are out of your mind." Her advice? "Put Thermacare Heatwraps under your shirt. I'm not kidding, I do it on sets," she insisted. And as for whether she'll be doing the same during New York Fashion Week: "We'll find out. If you give me a hug and I'm like, radiating, then yes, I have a bunch of heat packs on."
