One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of “the wedding of the century,” forcing the event’s desperate planner to hire Tom to get rid of him. The ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding, and possibly the hotel itself. An eye-popping blend of classic animation and live-action, Tom and Jerry’s new big-screen adventure stakes new ground for the iconic characters and forces them to do the unthinkable… work together to save the day.
The film will follow ChloĆ« Grace Moretz (Suspiria)’s Kayla, a new employee at the extravagant Park hotel who hires broke alley cat Tom to get rid of mouse Jerry in an attempt to secure her job. Michael PeƱa (Ant-Man & the Wasp) has signed on to star as Terrance, the deputy general manager of the hotel who acts as a bully to Kayla and begins clashing with his new employee as she impresses upper management with her battle against the animal duo.
In addition to Moretz and PeƱa, the cast for the film includes Rob Delaney (Deadpool 2), Colin Jost (Saturday Night Live), and Ken Jeong (Crazy Rich Asians). Tim Story is directing for Warner Bros. from a script by Kevin Costello.

The 9 Most Memorable U.S. Marshals in Television and Film History
Comingsoon.net is on the run and imagining being hunted down by some of the best federal marshals in the biz. Check out our picks in the gallery below!

There’s something undeniably cinematic about a U.S. Marshal; the Marshals Service being the primary agency for dealing with the most romanticized of criminals: the fugitive. This is not to say that a fugitive in cinema or on television is always an admirable character, and neither are the marshals; however, whether they have a questionable moral compass or are a chain-smoking drunk, they’re still a heck of a lot of fun to watch.

The one aspect of the stereotypical U.S. Marshal that seems to permeate this medium revolves around a sort of “southern charm.” They’re all cowboys. In honor of all successful manhunts, here are some gunslinging U.S. marshals we’ll never forget.

Coates is also at work on Ryan Coogler’s drama Wrong Answer, starring Michael B. Jordan and based on Rachel Aviv‘s 2014 story in The New Yorker about 11 Atlanta public school educators who were convicted of racketeering in an attempt to falsely improve standardized test scores.
As the national correspondent for The Atlantic, Coates covered cultural, social, and political issues, specifically that of African Americans and white supremacy. He has written for The Village Voice, TIME, and has contributed to the New York Times Magazine, Washington Post, and more. His non-fiction books include The Beautiful Struggle, Between the World and Me, and We Were Eight Years in Power: An American Tragedy. Bad Robot signed an exclusive deal with Warner Bros. in 2019 and is also developing the Justice League Dark Universe for film and television. The comic book Justice League Dark team made their debut during DC’s “New 52” publishing initiative in 2011. A paranormal-leaning super-team, the group featured the likes of John Constantine, Swamp Thing, Zatanna, Frankenstein, Deadman, Madame Xanadu, and The Phantom Stranger among its ranks. Prior to Liman’s involvement and departure, Guillermo del Toro had been attached to direct the Justice League Dark movie, which was set to be titled Dark Universe. Since then though, Universal Pictures used that moniker for their attempt at rebooting their classic monsters, so the film (should it ever be made) will likely carry the Justice League Dark title. It was recently announced that HBO Max is developing a new Constantine series and that the potential show would be connected to Bad Robot’s Justice League Dark universe.
