Heidi Klum‘s long-running reality competition show Project Runway has officially been renewed for one more season at Disney+ and Hulu. This comes nearly a month after Season 21 officially concluded its 10-episode run.
What do we know about Disney+ & Hulu’s Project Runway Season 22?
Project Runway Season 22 will once again be judged by host Heidi Klum, Elle magazine’s editor-in-chief Nina Garcia, celebrity stylist Law Roach, and fashion designer Christian Siriano. The latter is best known for winning Season 4 in 2007. The show is expected to make its return sometime in 2026.
The show is executive-produced by Gary Barber and Sean Hoagland for Spyglass; Dan Cutforth, Jane Lipsitz, Nan Strait, Dan Volpe, Michael Rucker, and San Heng serve for Alfred Street; and Klum, Siriano, and Garcia. It is a production by Spyglass Media Group and Alfred Street Industries.
The latest season was won by Filipino designer Veejay Floresca, who became the show’s first transgender woman winner. Her prizes include $200,000 cash, a six-month representation from Agentry PR, a mentorship with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), and magazine spread in the American edition of Elle.
“Amateur fashion stylists and designers compete to craft the best possible clothes while attempting to cope with various thematic, material, and time constraint challenges,” reads the show’s logline. “Challenges include fresh takes on materials like fake fur and concepts like the classic cocktail dress, a color-themed team challenge, and one where the competitors are in charge of dressing stars of another reality show.”
