David DiGilio, Jack Carr & Jared Shaw Discuss The Terminal List’s Big Season 2 Changes

The Terminal List showrunner David DiGilio, author Jack Carr, and executive producer Jared Shaw spoke with ComingSoon’s Tyler Treese about the second season of the hit Prime Video show. The trio discussed how Season 2 expands the story, working with director Ray Mendoza, and Chris Pratt’s dark performance. It’s now streaming on Prime Video.

“Season Two finds James Reece (Chris Pratt) searching for new purpose after finishing his list. When the CIA corners him, Reece must clear his name by stopping a resurgent terrorist group that has turned a former ally to their cause. The globe-trotting espionage thriller uncovers a conspiracy reaching from Moscow to Langley and into Reece’s own family history,” says the official synopsis.

Tyler Treese: David, in the first episode of this season, we get a very unexpected cameo, at least for me, Bill Maher. How was it getting him involved and having to do your own little episode of Real Time? You guys nailed it.

David DiGilio: It was incredible. Thank you. And we can thank the man behind you, Chris Pratt, for reaching out directly to Bill Maher. I believe he may have traded a podcast performance to get Bill Maher to perform in our show.

We brought a small crew from Canada to work with our existing crew in Los Angeles. It was great to be able to shoot part of this show back in L.A. Bill was incredible. We did it right at the end of a taping. Constance jumped in there. Our other actor jumped in as well. And the man who just nailed his lines, Mr. Bill Maher, was incredible.

Jared Shaw: We’re hoping he’s going to be able to make the premiere. He’s a little busy, but man, yeah, it’s great.

Tyler Treese: Jack, this season adapts the second book, True Believer. What impressed you the most about this adaptation and how they made tweaks to the story to fit a new medium?

Jack Carr: This one is global in nature. I was very intentional on my part in the book, and we did the same thing in the TV show.

It’s a risk to take a full episode and go across the Pacific. It’s a risk to take a full episode and drop it into Africa and have this character evolve and still propel this storyline forward. So I did that in the book, and that was successful on that front.

We did it in the show. People are loving these first two episodes. And for a lot of people that read the books, they always think that we’re not going to do certain things because Hollywood would never do X, Y, or Z.

And so to have this journey that Chris Pratt goes on as James Reece across the ocean, to have him learning to live again in Africa and capture that on film and deal with the difficulties that you have filming in such a remote location, and then to do these things that people think we’re not going to do, that part was probably the most rewarding, to see those scenes and chapters brought to life.

Tyler Treese: Jared, Chris Pratt told me that he really relies on being able to look at you anytime he’s unsure during filming or has a character question, and you’re able to give him feedback. What does that mean for you to have such trust from a star of that magnitude and him really wanting to be collaborative?

Jared Shaw: Yeah, I mean, we have that foundation of years of friendship just to start with. So there’s that bond that’s built over time just naturally as two very close buddies. And then with my background and where I come from, from the military side, Chris has been able to tap into that.

And I’ve been able to transfer over that knowledge and experience that I have and help him on the day when we’re on set find that tone and where it needs to be. Like he said, a lot of the time it’s just simply a look. If I just give a little nod, he knows he’s in the zone.

And we’ll say it a lot of the time, “Hey, give me a little more Reece. Give me just a little bit more Reece.” And he knows exactly what that means. All right, I need to go a little darker. I need to go a little more stoic with it. I need to be a little more on the operator side.

David DiGilio: He’s such a good guy. I mean, he constantly wants to bring that smile. He wants to bring that affability, and you help ground him as the Reece Whisperer.

Shaw: And as we all see on screen, he’s found it. He knows it. I mean, he is James Reece. And it’s really cool to see that transformation that he’s made from Chris Pratt, happy-go-lucky, funny guy, to, “Damn, you got that side of you.”

DiGilio: And maybe his best performance ever this season.

David, I want to ask you about working with Ray Mendoza, who’s one of the great directors on board this season. I loved Warfare. He’s another veteran who served our country. How was it getting him involved and working with Ray?

DiGilio: Ray Mendoza is an incredible asset to this team, and he’s been with this team from the beginning. He worked super closely with Antoine Fuqua to do the tunnel set piece in Syria that kicks off the entire franchise.

We then watched him rise to second unit director for us and then go off to co-direct Warfare, which is now one of the most authentic military thrillers ever put on screen.

We needed a director to step in and finish the Morocco work of 204 and 205. Our director, Tucker Gates, had a family crisis that he had to attend to back in the States.

Ray Mendoza, first pick. Incredible for him to come over. And then amazingly, I think episode 205, you’re going to see the first episode ever directed by a former SEAL, produced by a former SEAL, written by Kenny Sheard, a former SEAL, based on a book by this man, Jack Carr, a former SEAL. It’s pretty remarkable what Ray brought to that team.

Yeah, I love how you guys have all embraced all these former military and getting them involved in the entertainment industry. It really adds a layer to the show, and I think it’s really successful because of that.

Sylvester Stallone Movie I Play Rocky’s New Trailer Proves This’ll Be a Huge Oscar Contender

Amazon MGM Studios has released a new trailer for I Play Rocky, giving fans a new look at Anthony Ippolito as a young Sylvester Stallone.

The upcoming film explores the making of Stallone’s classic boxing drama Rocky. I Play Rocky premiered earlier this year at the Toronto International Film Festival to mostly positive reviews.

What happens in the I Play Rocky trailer?

The trailer opens with Ippolito portraying Stallone as a struggling actor taking on odd jobs to make ends meet. Frustrated by his inability to land roles, Stallone decides to write his own script, which his wife believes has potential. During a meeting with the eventual producers of Rocky, he receives praise for his work on the screenplay.

The footage takes a turn when Stallone proposes the idea of playing Rocky himself, which stuns the producers. He is then shown meeting Carl Weathers for the first time in a real boxing ring.

The trailer also includes snippets of recreations of scenes from the actual Rocky. However, instead of showing footage of Stallone, they show Ippolito reenacting the Italian Stallion’s performance. The trailer ends with the iconic shot of Rocky running in front of the stairs of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Directed by Peter Farrelly, the film also stars AnnaSophia Robb as Stallone’s wife, Sasha Czack, along with Stephan James playing Stallone’s co-star, Carl Weathers. The rest of the cast includes P. J. Byrne, Matt Dillon, Toby Kebbell, Jay Duplass, and more. I Play Rocky was written by Peter Gamble.

Stallone found international success and fame following the release of Rocky. He was also nominated for Best Actor at the Academy Awards, with the film taking home two wins at the ceremony.

I Play Rocky will be released in select theaters on November 6, 2026. The film will then expand to other theaters on November 20, 2026.

LOTR: The Hunt for Gollum Made the Right Call With Divisive Casting Decision

Next year, a new adventure heads to Middle-earth in The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. While several familiar faces from Peter Jackson‘s LOTR trilogy will return, one integral role has been recast. It’s a polarizing decision, but one which will be for the best.

In The Hunt for Gollum, Jamie Dornan plays Strider, a ranger Gandalf summons to find Gollum. Strider is later revealed to be Aragorn, the character Viggo Mortensen played in three LOTR movies. Dornan plays a younger version of the iconic character.

Replacing Mortensen has been divisive, especially since LOTR staples Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood are returning as Gandalf and Frodo, respectively. However, judging by recent comments, Dornan understands how to portray Strider without infringing on Mortensen’s performance.

The Hunt for Gollum transition from Viggo Mortensen to Jamie Dornan will ultimately work

First, no one can replace Mortensen as Aragorn. It’s a legendary character in The Lord of the Rings, one that Mortensen will be associated with for life. Dornan fully understands the comparison and acknowledged the pressure of following in Mortensen’s footsteps in an interview with L’Officiel.

“Aragorn will always be just Viggo,” Dornan said. “His performance is one of my all-time favorites, and I feel honored to try to recapture at least some of the energy he originally brought to the character. There’s no part of me that’s trying to outdo him.”

Dornan has the right mindset for Strider. He needs to honor the character’s spirit without doing a Mortensen impression. If Dornan tries to outdo Mortensen, he will likely fail. Playing a younger version of Aragorn allows Dornan to give his own interpretation of the character, which should only help differentiate his performance from Mortensen’s.

Despite the sentiment that recasting doesn’t work, look to Marvel for examples of how things went right. Mark Ruffalo replaced Edward Norton as the Hulk, and it’s been one of the MCU’s best casting decisions. Don Cheadle has been so good as James Rhodes that it’s easy to forget that Terrence Howard once played that role.

Dornan has big shoes to fill, but ultimately, it’s a risk worth taking.

What Does the Audience Need to Know About Tiny Fugitives Before Its Digital Release?

Directed and co-written by Michael Lewen, Tiny Fugitives follows a group of determined 12-year-olds. They hatch a plan to escape reality and spend the rest of their lives at sleepaway camp. However, their plan faces a major obstacle in Bob, a relentless 50-year-old counselor played by Knoxville. He will do whatever it takes to stop the children from carrying out their scheme.

The comedy features a young cast alongside familiar faces from film and television. Benjamin Pajak plays Jacob Udell, while Aaron Harris appears as Charness. Isa Bernal Steiner, Jai Soundar, and Rob Yang also feature in the movie. Blake Anderson and Jay Baruchel round out the cast with supporting roles.

Rogen serves as a producer through Point Grey Pictures, alongside Evan Goldberg and other producers. The film also comes from Tango and Public House Pictures, with Inaugural Entertainment handling distribution. Lewen co-wrote the screenplay with Jacob Kaplan.

Tiny Fugitives has received mixed reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the comedy holds a 53% Tomatometer score based on 19 reviews, while its audience score stands at 82%.

The film runs for 99 minutes and carries an R rating for crude sexual references, persistent language, and drinking.

Directed by Elegance Bratton from a script by Sascha Penn, the historical crime thriller film stars Wahlberg in the lead as Gregory Scarpa, a mafia hitman turned FBI informant, alongside Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Special FBI Agent Wayne Strider (his character is loosely based on real-life FBI agent Lindley DeVecchio) and Esposito as Vernon Dahmer.

The investigation at the center of By Any Means focuses on the 1966 firebombing murder of prominent civil rights activist and NAACP leader Vernon Dahmer Sr. in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Since the local residents are either too terrified to speak or deeply hostile toward federal authorities, the FBI pairs the principled, ambitious Black FBI agent Wayne with the ruthless, real-life New York Mafia hitman and secret government informant Gregory “The Grim Reaper” Scarpa. While Agent Strider aims to solve the murder strictly by the book, Scarpa is brought in to use brutal, illegal coercion tactics to break the wall of silence and uncover the truth.

Despite its intriguing plot, By Any Means received mixed critical reviews, including a 50% critical score on Rotten Tomatoes. Its box office performance wasn’t much better either, as it made only $17 million worldwide on a reported budget of $29 million.

The story follows the Matthews family, who encounter a fallen tree during a cross-country trip. They take a detour and end up in a mysterious town with no apparent way out. Every road leads them back to the same place.

Their situation worsens when they discover that deadly creatures emerge from the woods after dark. Sheriff Boyd Stevens helps the family understand the strict rules that keep the residents alive. As they adjust to their new surroundings, they begin searching for answers about the town and the forces keeping them there.

Sylvester Stallone Explains Why He Has ‘Millions’ of Regrets About Being an Action Movie Star

Sylvester Stallone built his career on action-packed roles, but performing his own stunts took a serious physical toll. The actor recently discussed his injuries and explained why he believes professional stunt performers should handle dangerous stunts.

During an interview with Fox News Digital, Stallone detailed the lasting effects of decades of stunt work. He said, “Millions, millions of regrets. I could literally spend a half hour talking about injuries, the amount, not even like one. I’m talking about 30 hours, 30 minutes of just individual ones, because it becomes compounded.”

“I have been injured many, many times, but after Expendables, I ended up with nine back operations, three neck fusions. Both shoulders ripped out, eye, all kinds of lens put… It’s been brutal.”

The 80-year-old actor said he has had to make peace with the pain. Looking back, he regrets not letting professionals handle the stunts. Stallone admitted, “I think I’m an idiot for doing that.”

He also offered advice to aspiring performers, saying, “Don’t be a stage hawk, or whatever you call it, a showboat. I know a lot of people are thinking about doing stunts … don’t. Let the pro do it.”

Stallone talks Tulsa King season 4 and life in Florida

Despite his regrets about stunt work, Stallone continues to portray Dwight Manfredi in Tulsa King. The crime drama’s fourth season premiered on Paramount+ on October 16, 2026, as the New York mobster faces new challenges while trying to expand his criminal empire.

Stallone said, “He still hasn’t achieved his goal. Just when he thinks he’s arrived, another situation, another dramatic episode presents itself, which is exactly what the show needs. We don’t want him to be like, ‘I can finally exhale.’ No, you don’t wanna.”

The actor also described the season’s opening as “quite shocking.” Dwight faces new criminals using political influence, technology, and traditional mob tactics. At the same time, tensions within his own crew create more problems for him.

Stallone also spoke about living in Florida after leaving California in 2024. He told the outlet, “I love it,” pointing to the clean air, water, and greenery as reasons the state suits him.

Winter Soldier’s MCU Disney+ Special Gets Great Production, Story Update Fans Will Love

Marvel Television head Brad Winderbaum has shared an update on Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier. He discussed the special’s development and shared an update on production of the upcoming Marvel Animation project.

Speaking on the Brandon Davis Show, he praised director Bryan Andrews and confirmed that the project has reached an advanced stage of production. He said, “We are farthest along on Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier. Those animatics are locked, and they’re building the shots right now.”

Marvel Zombies goes beyond the undead with unexpected emotional storytelling

The special is part of Marvel Animation’s plans for three new stories set in its zombie universe. Marvel Zombies: The Winter Soldier is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ during Halloween 2027. The lineup will continue with Marvel Zombies: The Fist of Khonshu in 2028, followed by Marvel Zombies: The Last Guardian in 2029.

Winderbaum praised director Bryan Andrews for taking the special beyond typical zombie action. He compared the special to the Doctor Strange episode of What If…? before praising its emotional storytelling. Brad added, “It’s like my favorite thing Brian Andrews has done since maybe like the Doctor Strange episode of What If, like it is so good. I can’t even believe, like it’s a zombie show, but then it goes into these emotional areas that you don’t expect. It’s just really great storytelling.”

The upcoming special will focus on Bucky Barnes, popularly known as the Winter Soldier. The character did not appear in the 2025 Marvel Zombies series, despite his role in the earlier zombie episode of What If…?. Director Bryan Andrews previously explained that Bucky’s storyline was too large to fit into the first season, and the team chose not to rush that into the existing series.

The original four-episode Marvel Zombies series premiered on Disney+ on September 24, 2025. It expanded the alternate reality introduced in What If…?, in which a zombie outbreak infected several familiar Marvel heroes.

The Beekeeper 2 Poster Sets Trailer Release Date for Jason Statham Action Movie Sequel

Amazon MGM Studios has revealed when Jason Statham fans can expect the first look at the sequel to The Beekeeper. The announcement unveiled a new poster for The Beekeeper 2 and confirmed its theatrical release date.

The first trailer for The Beekeeper 2 is set to release on October 15, 2026. The black-and-yellow promotional artwork shows Jason Statham with a stern expression, holding a weapon. A swarm of bees surrounds him, extending across the poster. It also displays an R rating from the MPA.

The upcoming trailer should offer the first substantial look at the sequel’s story and Statham’s return as Adam Clay, a highly skilled beekeeper. As of now, the studio has yet to share any plot details surrounding The Beekeeper 2.

Jason Statham’s The Beekeeper 2 confirms theatrical release update

Alongside the trailer announcement, the poster confirms the previously reported release date for The Beekeeper 2. Amazon MGM Studios will handle distribution for the theatrical launch. In the original film, Clay lives quietly as a beekeeper until his landlady’s death draws him into a violent confrontation with a powerful phishing operation. Hellbent on revenge, Clay sets out to track down those responsible. The sequel will continue Clay’s vendetta, with more enemies standing in his way.

According to IMDB, the film’s synopsis reads, “Now a wanted man, former government assassin Adam Clay continues his vendetta against those who wronged him.”

Jason Statham returns as Adam Clay, alongside several of his co-stars from the original film. These include Emmy Raver-Lampman, Bobby Naderi, Jemma Redgrave, and Jeremy Irons. Newcomers like Yara Shahidi, Pom Klementieff, and Adam Copeland join the cast. Timo Tjahjanto directs the feature from a screenplay by Umair Aleem. Statham produces the film alongside Chris Long and Kurt Wimmer.

The Beekeeper 2 is scheduled to arrive in theaters on January 15, 2027.

St. Denis Medical is returning for its Season 3 and NBC has released a brand-new trailer. For the uninitiated, the show follows in the footsteps of The Office, but in a hospital as opposed to a paper company.

The trailer introduces guest star Damon Wayans’s character and features several returning characters. It also showed what could be the driving plot of its premiere episode, which might spill over to the rest of the season as well.

What do we see in the St. Denis Medical Season 3 trailer?

The Season 3 trailer for St. Denis Medical reveals Ron’s return to the hospital. He underwent heart surgery in the Season 2 finale. Damon Wayans plays Dr. Highland, who filled in for Ron during his recovery. Matt and Serena’s “relationship” also took a turn, as the trailer teased that the duo could be facing issues at work because of their romance.

One of the trailer’s funniest moments comes when Ron returns to find the nursing station unattended and his old table being used to hold urine samples. His first interaction with Dr. Highland quickly becomes a contest, with both doctors trying to intimidate each other.

In another scene, Joyce chews out Serena and Matt for dating at work. The situation becomes even more awkward when Serena appears committed to the relationship but refuses to call Matt her boyfriend. The awkwardness escalates when Joyce describes an inappropriate hypothetical encounter between them.

The third season sees Allison Tolman, Khayun Kim, Josh Lawson, David Alan Grier, Makke Leeper, and Wendi McLendon-Covey return for the show.

St. Denis Medical Season 3 is slated to return on November 2, 2026, at 8 p.m., with episodes streaming the next day on Peacock. Seasons 1 and 2 are also available to stream on the platform.

Sebastian Stan Offers a Cryptic Update on Bucky’s Future in Avengers: Secret Wars

Sebastian Stan has shared a vague but intriguing update about his appearance as Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Secret Wars. His comments have fueled speculation about whether his character will return in a future Avengers film.

In an interview with IndieWire, Stan was asked about his involvement in future Marvel projects. The 44-year-old actor mentioned another film that is expected to begin filming next year, but he did not identify the project. While he doesn’t mention Secret Wars explicitly, it remains the most likely project for him to reprise his MCU role following Doomsday.

“I know there’s this other film that’s meant to shoot next year, but I haven’t heard anything about it,” the 44-year-old said. “There are a lot of people waiting to see when it’s going to happen. I don’t know if it’s on the schedule yet.”

Stan is set to reprise his role as Bucky Barnes in Avengers: Doomsday, which precedes Avengers: Secret Wars in Marvel’s release schedule. However, his involvement in Avengers: Secret Wars has not been confirmed.

What’s next for Marvel and its upcoming projects?

While there are multiple announced projects for the coming years, it is currently focusing on Doomsday’s release this year’s December. Before this, Marvel will release VisionQuest on October 14, 2026. The series follows White Vision after the events of WandaVision and Agatha All Along.

Marvel’s announced 2027 slate includes Avengers: Secret Wars, several returning series, and an animated Marvel Zombies special. The year begins with animated Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2 on January 13. Daredevil: Born Again’s third and final season is scheduled to premiere in March 2027.

Bucky Barnes will feature in Marvel Zombies: Winter Soldier, a two-part animated special planned for Halloween 2027. Then comes Secret Wars, the culminating film of MCU Phase Six. It is scheduled to arrive in theaters on December 17, 2027.

The next phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe begins with an untitled X-Men film, arriving on May 5, 2028. Marvel also has a Ghost Rider film starring Ryan Gosling and Black Panther 3 planned for 2028.

Jennifer Lawrence’s $3.3 billion franchise and more must-watch titles arrive in this week’s Hulu releases.

Hulu is bringing Panem back on October 14 with a complete Hunger Games marathon. Dropping that day are The Hunger Games (2012), Catching Fire (2013), Mockingjay – Part 1 (2014), Mockingjay – Part 2 (2015), and The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2023).

The first four films are led by Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, with key support from Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks. Later installments expanded the cast to include Sam Claflin, Jena Malone, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, and Julianne Moore. The 2023 prequel introduces a new lineup headlined by Tom Blyth and Rachel Zegler.

Also premiering that same day is Season 2 of FX’s crime drama, The Lowdown. Another Hulu release this week, bringing early Halloween chills, is Wolf Man. The 2025 Blumhouse reboot from Leigh Whannell follows Blake, who brings his wife and daughter to his remote childhood home in Oregon. There, a creature attacks and bites him, triggering a terrifying transformation that puts his family in danger.

Hugh Jackman’s Logan-Like Movie & More HBO Max Releases This Week

The new movie and TV releases coming to HBO Max from October 12-18, 2026, include The Death of Robin Hood and many others.

Written and directed by Michael Sarnoski, The Death of Robin Hood is a thriller film. It is a dark adaptation of the ballad “Robin Hood’s Death.” The film focuses on Robin Hood as he confronts his violent past and nurses battle wounds. His life changes while he takes refuge in a priory, where he meets the prioress and a young girl. The Death of Robin Hood received mixed reviews from critics. The star cast includes Hugh Jackman, Jodie Comer, Bill Skarsgård, Murray Bartlett, and Noah Jupe, among others, in key roles.

Also coming to HBO Max is the spy action thriller, The Amateur. Directed by James Hawes, it is based on the 1981 novel of the same name by Robert Littell. Avatar: The Last Airbender Scores Another New TV Show, First Details & Images Revealed

Avatar: The Last Airbender is expanding its universe with a brand-new TV show announced at New York Comic Con. Franchise co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko revealed the new Paramount+ animated show during a special panel on October 9.

The upcoming spinoff series, titled Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos, is produced by Avatar Studios and Nickelodeon Animation Studios. Konietzko serves as showrunner. The studios also revealed first-look images, featuring Kuruk and his pet, Nikik.

Paramount+ has not yet announced a release window or voice cast for Avatar Kuruk: Wave of Chaos. However, they revealed the first official details.

The new Avatar: The Last Airbender series follows a young Avatar’s journey to master the four elements

According to the official announcement, Wave of Chaos follows Kuruk, a rebellious teenage Avatar. His journey takes him across the world as he attempts to master all four elements (Water, Earth, Fire, and Air) on his own terms. Instead of following thousands of years of Avatar tradition, the defiant youngster learns through real-world adventures.

Along the way, Kuruk must stay ahead of his angry teacher, rowdy pirates, and chaotic spirits. Despite the trouble he encounters, he continues helping people in his own way while learning to control the four elements. His unconventional approach sets him apart from the traditional expectations placed on the Avatar. Kuruk’s pet, Nikik, also aids him during his expedition.

The creators confirmed that World of Chaos is the next installment in the franchise. According to Mashable, Bryan Konietzko described the series as “not tragic and violent and dark,” but as their first action comedy.

Kuruk isn’t new to the franchise. He has reportedly appeared in Avatar: The Last Airbender through Aang’s visions of his past lives. Kuruk is best known for his tragic history with Koh, the face-stealing spirit who took his fiancée Ummi’s face.

The series does not yet have a premiere date.

Scream Reveals New Ghostface Popcorn Bucket for Horror Movie’s Theatrical Rerelease

Keeping up with the trend of cinematic popcorn buckets, fans will soon be able to get their hands on one inspired by the Scream franchise.

The iconic franchise returns to theaters in October with a rerelease of the 1996 original, Scream. To celebrate its 30th anniversary, Cinemark Theatres has revealed a new popcorn bucket featuring the iconic slasher villain, Ghostface.

The Ghostface popcorn bucket will be available with orders of XL popcorn. It will be accompanied by a souvenir cup as well, adorned with text of the iconic line from the film, “What’s your favorite scary movie?” Both of them also include free same-day refills for all buyers returning to theaters for Scream.

The Original Scream is returning to theaters for its 30th anniversary

The Scream franchise redefined the slasher genre, and it is returning to theaters once more for its 30th anniversary.

The film, directed by Wes Craven, told the story of Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott and her friends being targeted by a costumed serial killer in Woodsboro, California. The first film’s success led to the inception of a new franchise, with six sequels and a TV series. Campbell, along with many other original cast members, has reprised the role numerous times.

Its most recent entry, Scream 7, became the franchise’s highest-grossing project, collecting over $207 million worldwide, per Box Office Mojo. However, it also received the franchise’s worst reviews, despite a more positive response from audiences.

Fans are now waiting for the next installment, Scream 8, which will be written by Lila and Nora Zuckerman. The film has yet to land a director or receive a release date.

The 30th-anniversary rerelease also honors original cast member C.W. Morgan, who portrayed Hank Loomis in the original film and passed away earlier this week at age 72.

Celine Dion gracefully tackled an onstage mishap during a recent performance. The singer stumbled on stage before recovering quickly to continue the song.

On Wednesday night, Dion performed in Nanterre as part of her Celine Dion Paris 2026–2027 concert series. At one point during the show, the singer tripped and fell on the stage while showing off her dance moves. Dion also assured her concerned fans that she was alright with a lively thumbs-up.

Celine Dion’s Paris 2026–2027 concert residency marks the singer’s return to live performance following an extended hiatus. The singer’s last concert tour was the Courage World Tour in 2019, which she had to cancel after being diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome.

Earlier this year, Dion shared a positive update and announced that she’s finally returning to the stage. “I want to let you know that I’m doing great, managing my health. I’m feeling good,” the Grammy-winning star shared in an Instagram video. “I’m singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing. Obviously, you know. I love it so much.”

Dion continued, “Over the last few years, every day that’s gone by, I’ve felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love. You’ve helped me in ways that I can’t even describe, and I’m truly fortunate to have your support.”
