Alan Ritchson has solidified his status as Prime Video‘s top leading star as two of his TV shows dominate global streaming charts. Ritchson’s action franchise, Reacher, continues to perform strongly across both shows on the platform.

Reacher and its new spinoff, Neagley, currently hold the top two spots on Prime Video’s global TV chart, according to FlixPatrol data as of September 23. Neagley tops the list, followed by Reacher in second place.

Alan Ritchson plays the title role in Reacher, which recently concluded its fourth season. Maria Sten leads the spin-off as Frances Neagley, a former member of Reacher’s team who now works as a private detective in Chicago. Ritchson also makes a guest appearance in Neagley, directly connecting the two shows.

Why Prime Video’s Reacher expansion is already paying off

The strong chart performance highlights Amazon’s expansion of the Reacher universe. Reacher Season 4 premiered on August 12 with three episodes, and new episodes followed weekly before its finale on September 16. Prime Video dropped Neagley in its entirety the same day, letting viewers binge-watch them back-to-back.

That approach kept fans connected to the franchise while linking the two shows. Alan Ritchson’s brief appearance in the spin-off also gave it instant credibility within the established Reacher fanbase, rather than introducing the series as a separate story.

Moreover, the spin-off expands the Reacher universe while taking a different approach. While Jack Reacher moves from town to town, Frances Neagley stays in Chicago as a private detective working on a local case. This gives the series its own identity while staying true to the original franchise.

As of writing, Neagley holds a 93% Tomatometer score and an 86% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes. That indicates that audience interest extends beyond Ritchson’s main role to the broader world.

While Amazon did not announce a new season for Neagley, Reacher is already confirmed for a fifth season, with development in progress.
