Drain well.

In a saute pan or a wok, toast the ginger, garlic, scallions and chilies for about 30 seconds or until you can smell the aroma of the aromatic vegetables.

Add in the fried prawns, season them with the spiced salt and toss to mix well. Serve immediately.

Note: This recipe can also be adapted with fried tofu, chicken or even fish for an Asian version of Fish and Chips. Spiced salt 1/2 cup kosher salt 1/2 tbsp Szechuan peppercorn, toasted and crushed 1/4 tsp 5 spice powder

Mix the salt, Szechuan pepper and 5-spice powder and store in an airtight container. It will store well for one month in a pantry.

Note: You can also make your own five spice powder mix by toasting equal parts of cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds, star anise and Szechuan peppercorn. Grind them in a coffee grinder to a powder and it can be stored in an airtight container in your spice cabinet for up to 3 weeks.

This salt is great as a seasoning fried food and roast meats.

Super Bowl Style: Joe Namath's Furrier Speaks

Sunday's uneventful Super Bowl may have put viewers to sleep, but the dull game at least yielded one bright spot  that will become part of sports style lore for all time: Joe Namath's fantastical furry coat. Turns out the voluminous hooded coyote hide came from New York-based furrier Marc Kaufman, who Broadway Joe found by performing a simple Google search.

"I just met Joe on Wednesday," Kaufman tells Pret-a-Reporter of the fateful meeting with his first-time client. "If you Google 'New York furs' I'm number one, so he found me."

STORY: Super Bowl Style: Bruno Mars is Golden in Saint Laurent

Kaufman -- a third-generation furrier whose Manhattan shop was founded by his grandfather in 1910 --  says that Namath requested something fresh and new that differed from the furs he was known for in the '70s. The hooded $3,000 coyote he coat ultimately wore during Sunday's Super Bowl coin toss was the first of a dozen coats Kaufman showed him after sizing him up.

"He tried on a blue mink and a red fox," Kaufman says. "But he went back to the first one. It looked best on him."

Namath didn't respond to Pret-a-Reporter's request for comment. But judging by the smile on his face during Sunday's coin toss, Kaufman can likely surmise Namath's warm, fuzzy feeling conjured by the coat.

"Tell me how good we did," Kaufman exclaims. "We won the Super Bowl!"

Naomi Campbell's 'The Face' Lines up Several Brand Partnerships

Naomi Campbell's modeling competition series The Face has lined up several brand partnerships for its second season.

Oxygen Media and Shine America on Wednesday said that Pamella Roland, Alex and Ani, Liebeskind Berlin and Tweezerman have joined grand-prize partner Frederic Fekkai and editorial partner Elle Magazine as beauty brand partners.

The exclusive brand partnerships have both on and off-air extensions including in-show integrations, online cross promotions, the launch of consumer products and branded video content.

Super Bowl Style: Joe Namath's Fur Coat Wins the Game

This Super Bowl, we're not exactly rooting for any team in particular (our beloved Chicago Bears are out of the race, after all). But regardless of who takes home Sunday's game, one thing is certain at the top of the first half -- Joe Namath's pimp coat has already won.

The NFL legend (and former New York jets quarterback) first busted out his signature long, furry beast coat in the '70s, when he would routinely sit on the sidelines in said outerwear and bitchin' bell bottoms. The flashy Hall of Famer's coat became such a thing, in fact, that it inspired the NFL to ban any off-brand apparel by league personnel during games.

STORY: Super Bowl: Vera Wang to Design Renee Flemming's National Anthem Outfit

Fur isn't the only style signature sported by the QB. He also earned the nickname "Joe Willie Whiteshoes" for a love of white low-tops instead of black high-tops on the field. During his time, his swagger was also enhanced by having dated Hollywood bombshell Raquel Welch as well as appearing in Noxema commercials with Farrah Fawcett.

Though the coat is really nothing new, the fact that Namath busted it out for Super Bowl XLVIII is nothing short of badass. And for that, we commend him.

Bruce Springsteen's Daughter Named Gucci's Equestrian Ambassador

Bruce Springsteen's daughter, Jessica Springsteen, has been named to Gucci's team of equestrian ambassadors.

Gucci's latest riding collection, developed especially for Jessica, marks the fourth year since the Italian fashion house returned to equestrian design in December 2009, after a 20-year hiatus, when the luxury brand became the sponsor of the Gucci Masters in Paris.

"Jessica is a great horsewoman, with a very exciting and positive riding style," said Frida Giannini, Gucci’s creative director, in a statement. "Her passion for horse riding, and show jumping in particular, is something that I can really relate to, as I have been riding ever since I was a little girl. Jessica brings the elegant, dynamic spirit of Gucci alive, and I have ensured that the design of this new wardrobe provides her with pieces that manage to be both technically correct and stylish."

The equestrian collection features technical clothing and accessories for show jumping and training, while epitomizing the style and glamour of horse riding. A key feature from the range is the Gucci crest — which Giannini reintroduced to the House from the archives in 2008 — featuring a heraldic shield incorporating the figure of a knight in armor holding a suitcase and handbag in place of a sword and shield. Jessica will have a personalized crest, featuring her initials: J.R.S.

"I have been riding since I was four years old, and grew up around horses. I love the freedom you feel on horseback, and enjoy the discipline of competition. Riding in the collection that Frida has created for me is an honor and great fun — it combines the best of sport and style," said Springsteen.

She will join the existing Gucci equestrian ambassadors: Monaco royal Charlotte Casiraghi, show jumper Edwina Tops-Alexander and French actor Guillaume Canet.
