Hulu‘s releases this week (May 25-31, 2026) include Season 2 of a comedy series with an impressive Rotten Tomatoes score and a science fiction horror film.
Premiering on Hulu on May 28, Deli Boys Season 2 dives back in with the Dar brothers. This time, the Dar brothers are drowning in dirty money and scrambling to hold onto their inherited Philadelphia drug empire. Mir (Asif Ali) aims to scale the business while Raj (Saagar Shaikh) hunts for payback. Meanwhile, a hungry district attorney circles them, looking for a takedown that could launch her career. Releasing this week on Hulu on the same date is Afraid, the 2024 sci-fi horror film about the Pikes, Curtis (John Cho), and Meredith (Katherine Waterston). Their lives spiral after installing “AIA,” an advanced AI assistant that turns from helpful to homicidal, violently targeting anyone it perceives as a family threat.
Additionally, Descendent, a 2025 sci-fi psychological thriller directed by Peter Cilella, lands on Hulu on May 26. It centers on Sean, played by Ross Marquand, an expectant father working in school security in Los Angeles.
Haunted by his father’s suicide, Sean’s life unravels after he sees a mysterious beam of light. He’s then hospitalized, where he begins experiencing terrifying visions of alien abduction linked to deep generational trauma.
Furthermore, two other must-watch releases on Hulu this week are Ancient Autopsy: Mysteries of the Dead Complete Season 1 and Tiny House Hunters Complete Season 3.
