If you’ve ever wanted your very own chibi Yuji Itadori to take care of, well, you’re in luck. Bandai has announced a new line of Jujutsu Kaisen-themed Tamagotchi, which they’ve cheekily named Jujugotchi. The devices are planned to release in Japan in early 2022.
Tamagotchi have been a phenomenon in toys for decades now, but if you’re unfamiliar you’ll need to care for the little creature by feeding them, walking them, and training them. This version, of course, comes with different curses to fight, as well as three unique minigames. There are five different variations available, with unique designs for Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, Satoru Gojo, and Sukuna.

The Jujugotchi are only available in Japan, however, select retailers like Aitai Kuji will ship to the United States. Bandai is also releasing Tamagotchi versions of both Demon Slayer and Evangelion. Luckily, those versions can actually be purchased in the West through the official Tamagotchi store on Amazon. There are a few other non-anime series to choose from as well, including Star Wars, Gudetama, Hello Kitty, Pac-Man, and Kamen Rider.
In terms of what’s coming up for Jujutsu Kaisen, the series’ first film, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is set to hit theaters in Japan on December 24. Meanwhile, season two of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime will premiere in the Spring 2022 season.
