The trailer for Bridgerton Season 4 is now out, offering the first extended look at Benedict Bridgerton’s long-awaited romance. Released by Netflix, the preview confirms that the upcoming season will adapt Julia Quinn’s An Offer From a Gentleman and center on Benedict’s Cinderella-coded love story with Sophie.

Bridgerton Season 4 shifts focus to the second son, Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, who has so far resisted marriage while watching his siblings settle down. That changes when a mysterious Lady in Silver captures his attention at his mother’s masquerade ball. The season follows the romance laid out in Quinn’s novel, making Benedict’s story the emotional core of the next chapter.
The trailer opens with Penelope Featherington visiting Queen Charlotte at the launch of a new debutante season, as Lady Whistledown prepares her next pamphlet. “You must begin the proper way!” the Queen insists, prompting Penelope to return to the familiar opening: “Dearest Gentle Reader.”
As Whistledown narrates, Benedict is warned that he must “bow to that most powerful of forces, mothers.” The preview then introduces Sophie Baek, played by Yerin Ha, the illegitimate daughter of the Earl of Penwood. Her dream of attending a ball is in contrast with her daily reality as a servant in the household of Araminta and her daughters. With help from fellow servants, Sophie sneaks into the masquerade, where she meets Benedict.
When the clock strikes midnight, Sophie flees, convinced Benedict is searching only for the illusion of the “lady in the silver gown.” The Bridgerton Season 4 trailer shows Benedict setting out to find her, glove in hand, as their connection finds its way amid secrets and social barriers.
Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1, consisting of the first four episodes, premieres January 29, 2026, on Netflix. Part 2 will follow on February 26, continuing Benedict and Sophie’s romance to its ending.

Kali’s friends – When Kali was hunted down by Dr. Kay’s soldiers, her friends were killed in front of her. Moreover, Axel was shot in the head by a soldier in a flashback scene. It is also subtly hinted that Kali’s friends from Season 2 also suffered a tragic fate.
The scientist in the mine – During Holly and Max’s time in Henry’s mind, they come across his memory related to a man in the cave. It was a fearful scientist, with a briefcase and a gun pointed towards a young Henry. The scientist shoots at Henry’s hand, which leads to a tussle between them for the gun. In the end, Henry kills the man by hitting him brutally with a rock.
Dr. Kay’s scientists – When Kali tries to escape the prison, she kills two unnamed scientists along the way.
Dr. Kay’s military soldiers – They attempt to fire the gun at Demodogs several times, without being aware of the serious consequences. Their firings anger the creatures, who ultimately kill off two soldiers.
Demodogs: The Demodogs reach close to the squad, but a sudden noise distracts them and sends them toward a dryer. The oxygen tank ultimately explodes and kills three of these creatures.

007 First Light Release Date Delayed for Video Game
IO Interactive has announced its highly anticipated action game, 007 First Light, will be delayed for two months. Despite this being potentially bad news for fans, it seems development on the game is going smoothly and that the extra months are for polish and refinement.
When is the new 007 First Light release date?
In a statement from IO Interactive, the developer announced 007 First Light will now release on May 27, 2026. It was originally set to release on March 27, 2026.
“007 First Light is our most ambitious project to date, and the team has been fully foucesed on delivering an unforgettable James Bond experience, bringing together breathtaking action, globe-trotting, spycraft, gadgets, car chases, and more,” begins the statement. “As an independent developer and publisher, this decision allows us to ensure the experience meets the level of quality you players deserve on day one.”
“The game is progressing well and is fully playable from beginning to end, so these additional two months will allow us to further polish and refine the experience, ensuring we deliver the strongest possible version at launch,” continues the statement. “We’re confident this sets 007 First Light up for long-term success, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and continued support we’ve received ever since we revealed the game.”
Although it has been known that IO Interactive was working on a James Bond video game, they officially unveiled the title and first trailer for 007 First Light during the June 2025 PlayStation State of Play. During this year’s Game Awards, it was announced that Grammy Award-winning artist Lenny Kravitz would star in the game.

Disney Removes 2 Movies From 2026 Release Schedule, Delays 2027 Film
Disney has removed two movies from their release date calendar entirely, while a third film has been delayed by several months.
This year has proven to be busy for Disney as, through the various companies that they own, the studio has put out titles such as Captain America: Brave New World, Snow White, Lilo & Stitch, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Freakier Friday, Tron: Ares, Predator: Badlands, Zootopia 2, Ella McCay, Avatar: Fire and Ash, and more.
Disney won’t be slowing down in 2026, either, as some of their upcoming movies include Hoppers, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Mandalorian and Grogu, Toy Story 5, Moana, and Avengers: Doomsday, among other titles.
When were the upcoming Disney movies supposed to come out?
Having said all that, Disney is now changing around some of their projects’ release dates, which has resulted in two movies quietly being removed from the calendar.
Disney has removed two untitled movies — meaning that there’s no word on what these projects were supposed to be — from its schedule. These films were supposed to come out on September 11, 2026, and November 6, 2026. It seems safe to assume that these projects aren’t MCU or Star Wars-related, as the company typically labels these movies as “Untitled Marvel” or “Untitled Star Wars” before they’re given a title. Beyond that, however, it’s anybody’s guess.
Another untitled Disney project that was dated for March 5, 2027, has now been pushed back to June 18, 2027. Again, there’s no word on what this movie might be at this time. It is worth noting, though, that this mysterious project has switched release dates with Pixar’s Gatto — that movie was originally going to be released on June 18, 2027, but has now pivoted to the March 5, 2027, release date.

New Zombie Horror Movie This Is Not a Test Gets Release Date, Bloody Poster
Independent Film Company (IFC) and Shudder have announced the release date for This Is Not a Test, an upcoming horror thriller that revolves around high school students suddenly facing a zombie apocalypse. In addition, the first poster has also been shared, featuring a glimpse of the main cast led by former Disney Channel star Olivia Holt (Girl vs. Monster, Cloak & Dagger).
“In the film, Sloane and a small group of her classmates take cover in their high school to escape their suddenly apocalyptic hometown. As danger relentlessly pounds on the doors, Sloane begins to see the world through the eyes of people who actually want to live and takes matters into her own hands,” reads the official synopsis.

IFC and Shudder will officially release This Is Not a Test in theaters on February 20, 2026. Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are set to star in Martin Scorsese‘s next film, an adaptation of Peter Cameron’s novel What Happens at Night. The trio are also set to be joined by another Oscar nominee for the movie as well.
Who has joined Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence’s upcoming movie?
According to a report from World of Reel, Oscar-nominated cinematographer Rodrigo Prieto is attached to the project to join Scorsese. Prieto is a longtime collaborator of Scorsese, having filmed his last four films, including The Wolf of Wall Street, Silence, The Irishman, and Killers of the Flower Moon. Prieto has also worked with a litany of high-profile directors, including Ang Lee, Spike Lee, Pedro Almodóvar, Alejandro González Iñárritu, and Greta Gerwig.
What Happens at Night will be directed by Scorsese from a screenplay written by Patrick Marber. Besides DiCaprio, the movie will also star Jennifer Lawrence, who previously worked with the Titanic actor on the 2021 comedy Don’t Look Up. Even though Scorsese is serving as a producer on Lawrence’s Die, My Love movie, the upcoming project will be the first time that the acclaimed filmmaker will be directing Lawrence.
In a recent interview with one another as part of an Actors on Actors series, DiCaprio also opened up on what Lawrence could expect working with the legendary figure for the first time. Apple Original Films is in negotiations to finance and produce the projects alongside StudioCanal.
“The story follows a married American couple who travel to a small, snowy European town to adopt a baby. They check into a cavernous, largely deserted hotel where they encounter an enigmatic cast of characters, including a flamboyant chanteuse, a depraved businessman, and a charismatic faith healer,” reads the movie’s initial synopsis (via Deadline). “Nothing is quite as it seems in this strange, frozen world. As the couple struggles to claim their baby, the less they seem to know about themselves and the life they’ve built together.”

Oscars Finds New Broadcast Partner, Will Stream for Free
The Oscars are getting a new broadcast partner.
As announced by the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, the Academy Awards ceremony — which has aired on ABC since the mid-1970s — will be moving to a new location in 2029. The deal will last at least through 2023.
Where will the Oscars be streamed for free?
The Oscars have partnered with YouTube, meaning the entire ceremony will be available to watch on YouTube and YouTube TV for free, per The Hollywood Reporter. The Alphabet Network (ABC) will continue to air the Oscars through “the 100th edition of the awards show in 2028.”
The article also notes, “As part of the newly-inked deal, YouTube will broadcast not only the Oscars ceremony itself, but also a significant amount of related content: red carpet pre-show and behind-the-scenes in-show content; the Oscar nominations announcement; the Governors Awards, at which the Academy presents honorary Oscars and occasionally the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award and the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award; the Oscars Nominees Luncheon; the Student Academy Awards ceremony; the Scientific and Technical Awards ceremony; Academy member and filmmaker interviews; film education programs; podcasts; and more.”
YouTube CEO Neal Mohan said in a statement, “The Oscars are one of our essential cultural institutions, honoring excellence in storytelling and artistry. Classic Western Movie Getting TV Show Reboot From Amazon
MGM+ is rebooting one of the best Western movies from the 1960s, with writer Tim Kring (Heroes) attached to serve as an executive producer. The Amazon-owned streaming platform has officially granted an eight-episode series order to the upcoming TV adaptation of The Magnificent Seven, based on director John Sturges’ Steve McQueen-led movie.
“Tim Kring is a master storyteller,” MGM+ boss Michael Wright said in a statement. “Tim, Donald De Line, Larry Mirisch, and Bruce Kaufman have crafted a series that delivers the energy of a classic Western, honors the legacy of the original film, and reasserts its timeless themes of the power of unity against oppression and flawed heroes finding redemption by helping those who can’t help themselves.”
What do we know about Amazon’s The Magnificent Seven TV show?
According to Variety, production on The Magnificent Seven TV show is expected to begin in June 2026. Besides Kring, Donald De Line, Lawrence Mirisch, and Bruce Kaufman have also signed on as executive producers. It will be a production by Amazon-owned MGM+ Studios and MGM Television Studios.
“Set in the 1880s American frontier, the series follows a group of mercenaries who are hired to protect a peaceful Quaker village after it is massacred by a land baron’s hired guns,” reads the official logline. “As the flawed but gifted mercenaries embed with the Quakers, they must grapple with the question of whether it is acceptable to use violence to defend a people whose faith is based on nonviolence. The series will explore each member of the Seven, exploring what’s at stake and why they chose to take on this mission.”
Due to the 1960 movie’s critical and commercial success, it expanded into a franchise with three more sequels. In 2016, acclaimed filmmaker Antoine Fuqua directed a remake of the classic movie with Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawke leading the cast. The upcoming MGM+ reboot won’t be the first time that the movie has been adapted for TV, as CBS previously produced a remake starring Michael Biehn and Ron Perlman, which only lasted for two seasons from 1998-2000.

Now You See Me 3 Digital Release Date Set for Star-Studded Heist Movie
Lionsgate has announced the digital release date for Now You See Me 3, the latest entry to the blockbuster heist franchise. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, it has now become the highest-rated installment of the franchise, with a current Tomatometer rating of 61% on Rotten Tomatoes.
“The Four Horsemen are back — to unite with a new generation of illusionists for their most global, high-stakes magical adventure yet. Their mission: Expose the corruption of Veronika Vanderberg, a powerful diamond heiress with ties to arms dealers, traffickers, and warlords,” reads the official synopsis. “Aided by the legendary Thaddeus, the two generations of magicians must overcome their differences to try and defeat their cunning and dangerous adversary, in this magic-fueled heist filled with the franchise’s signature twists, turns, and thrilling reveals — along with some of the most thrilling illusions ever captured on film.”
When is the digital release date for Now You See Me 3?
Now You See Me: Now You Don’t will be available to rent via Premium Video on Demand (for a 48-hour period), and to buy via Premium Electronic Sell Thru on participating digital platforms, starting on December 16, 2025. During its theatrical release, the threequel earned a worldwide gross of $213 million at the box office.
Ruben Fleischer directed the movie from a screenplay by Seth Grahame-Smith, Michael Lesslie, Paul Wernick, and Rhett Reese, based on the story by Eric Warren Singer. With Wake Up Dead Man now available to watch on Netflix, there are a few things audiences might want to know about Knives Out 3 before sitting down to watch the movie.
Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery is the third film in Rian Johnson’s Knives Out franchise. Daniel Craig once again reprises his role as Benoit Blanc, while the all-new ensemble cast includes A-list actors like Josh O’Connor, Kerry Washington, Jeremy Renner, Glenn Close, and more.
What should people know about Wake Up Dead Man: Knives Out 3 before seeing it?
Wake Up Dead Man is a more serious, oftentimes darker movie compared to Knives Out and Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. It still has moments of humor; however, the overall story and tone of the movie are getting at something more somber than the franchise’s previous entries.
Nathan Johnson, Rian’s brother who does the music for the Knives Out movies, said in an interview with Forbes, “This one made me cry, which was, I think, the first time that’s happened with one of Rian’s movies. So, this one felt like it is darker — it’s more gothic. There’s like this underlying dread there that we were talking about discovering, but then also it takes you to this moment that I feel is a moment of real generosity. It’s kind of a meaningful dance to get to start in this very dread-filled place, but then hopefully end in a place that feels like, as I observed the performances and the characters and the things happening on-screen, it’s kind of something that I want to see more of in the world.”
A big part of why Knives Out 3 is darker than the other two movies is because Benoit Blanc largely serves as a supporting character in the film. Much of the plot in Wake Up Dead Man revolves around Josh O’Connor, similar to how Ana de Armas and Janelle Monáe played big roles in Knives Out and Glass Onion. The difference with Wake Up Dead Man, though, is that Josh O’Connor is so vital to this story (and could very well earn an Oscar nomination for his performance) that he’s on screen far more than anyone else; Blanc, in fact, doesn’t really enter the film until its second act.
Also, regarding the murder mystery that’s at the heart of Wake Up Dead Man, it’s a much tougher case to crack this time around. Some audiences complained that they could easily identify who the murderer was in both Knives Out and Glass Onion. Wake Up Dead Man has enough twists and turns that make it difficult to figure out where this one is headed. Put your thinking caps on before booting up the movie.

How to get feet pics from the new horror movie
On the movie’s Instagram page, fans are being offered the chance to get a picture of star Rohan Campbell’s feet. All fans have to do is prove they saw the movie via ticket stubs, and they’ll receive a message of a “red hot pic” of the actor’s feet.
The joking marketing tactic is a curious one, but seems to have resonated with fans in the comments, who are responding happily to the move, and also sending in a ton of jokes.

The official title and production start date for Jay and Silent Bob 3 have finally been revealed, teasing what to expect from the next chapter of Kevin Smith’s stoner comedy franchise. This comes more than six years after its sequel was released, which received a Popcornmeter rating of 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Jay and Silent Bob 3 has officially been given the title of Jay and Silent Bob: Store Wars, which was initially set to start production in Canada earlier this year. At the moment, the third installment is now scheduled to film in another location sometime in 2026.
Speaking with THR, Smith opened up about the third movie’s filming delay, revealing that the trade war between the U.S. government and Canada was one of the main reasons why they’ve decided to move the project’s production start date.
“We had Canadian money, and the Canadian money went away. It was just as people were getting aggressive with our friends up north,” Smith revealed. “I was more down on myself for the movie falling apart. I was like, ‘Well, this is your fault. You should have been more successful. If you’d been better at your job, then you could fucking pay for your own art, and you wouldn’t have to go hat in hand to somebody else.’ So I can’t bitch.”
The Jay and Silent Bob film franchise takes place in Smith’s cinematic universe called the View Askewniverse. It centers around stoner friends Jay and Silent Bob, portrayed by Jason Mewes and Smith, respectively. They are the only characters who have appeared in all of Smith’s movies in the View Askewniverse, including Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. Further details about the upcoming third movie’s plot and cast members are still under wraps.

Rey Skywalker Star Wars Movie Will Be ‘Worth the Wait,’ Daisy Ridley Explains
Daisy Ridley provided a promising update about reprising her role as Rey Skywalker in a new Star Wars movie.
What did Daisy Ridley say about her upcoming Star Wars movie?
It’s been nearly three years since 2023’s Star Wars Celebration, when Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy announced that Ridley would return as Rey in a new movie directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy. The Rey movie is no closer to being made since Kennedy’s announcement, with numerous writers being brought in to work on the script.
While speaking with IGN, Ridley expressed her trust in the creatives behind the Rey movie and teased that patience will pay off.
“Honestly, there are scripts that I read five years ago, and now I’ve gone, ‘Oh, maybe they will actually happen,’” Ridley explained. “I think over the years, I’ve learned how the reality of getting any film made is so massive. The hurdles are vast . . . But with this [Rey movie], particularly, I know that incredible voices and creatives are part of it, and I know the wait will be worth it.”
Ridley’s Rey was first introduced to audiences as a Force-sensitive scavenger in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Over the course of the sequel trilogy, Rey trained to become a Jedi, culminating with her victory over her grandfather, Emperor Palpatine. At the end of The Rise of Skywalker, Rey adopted the last name Skywalker.
Ridley’s solo movie dates back to 2022, with Obaid-Chinoy directing from a screenplay by Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson. Steven Knight replaced Lindelof and Britt-Gibson in March 2023, with production set to begin in February 2024. Knight departed the project in October 2024, with filming pushed back to 2025. As of Janaury 2025, George Nolfi is the new screenwriter.
The untitled Rey movie is expected to take place 15 years after the events in Rise of Skywalker, with Rey forming a new Jedi Order.
